Acklands-Grainger has implemented a robust and integrated Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) management system in relation to our business as a distributor of industrial, safety and fastener products. The management system is modeled after the sound principles of regulatory compliance, risk management and continual improvement found in the OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 standards.
Our EH&S management system has been reviewed, verified and approved by CanQual Inc., an online contractor data management and due diligence assurance organization based in Alberta . The system documentation and the approval are housed on the CanQual database.
To ensure the products we sell are safe and meet Canadian standards and regulations, we have developed a comprehensive product certification and standards compliance program. All products are reviewed and approved and each supplier is required top complete our supplier compliance documentation.
If there is any issue with a product we have a detailed recall process in place which can quickly isolate and rectify the problem.
