SPC cables and adapters connect precision measuring instruments to a computer or other receiver to transmit, record, and analyze data. The connection that the precision measuring tool plugs into on the computer will have a standard connection like USB or RS-232. If the cable that comes with the instrument doesn’t match that connection type, an adapter is used to make the cable end compatible with the part.
