Pumps
Pumps are designed for specific systems or applications and handle system-compatible media, such as water, fuel, oil, or compressed gas. They transfer media from one location to another or circulate media in a closed loop. Dewatering and wastewater pumps drain water from flooded areas or are placed in sump pits of basements or crawlspaces to prevent flooding. Double diaphragm pumps are self-priming and can run dry without the risk of damaging internal parts. They handle liquids with suspended solids, viscous fluids, fuels, and oils. Straight, self-priming, and submersible centrifugal pumps transfer and circulate liquids using centrifugal force in various industrial, commercial, and specialized applications. Circulating pumps, flanges, unions, and controls move water through pipe systems to deliver hot water to faucets and shower heads, or to provide radiant heat to floors and radiators. Chemical metering pumps are positive displacement pumps that dose liquids for various applications such as wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and manufacturing.
