Prefocus Flanged Base Miniature Light Bulbs & Lamps
Prefocus flange base miniature light bulbs have a collar that keeps the base aligned for proper seating as it's pushed into a matching prefocus socket. They are most commonly used as vehicle headlamps but may also supply the light source for specialized applications ranging from indicator and navigation lights to studio and projector lights. Their trade number provides a reference to find a replacement bulb for a specific application. The number may be printed on the lamp itself or in its instruction manual.
